30, 860 New Yorkers have you to thank!
This year, we asked our Asphalt Green community to help us raise $2.25 million for our FIT KIDS FIT CITY campaign. We could not be prouder of the response because they answered loud and clear. During this 2013-2014 fiscal year, our generous donors helped us raise more than $2.4 million for FIT KIDS FIT CITY!
These donations helped us serve more than 30,000 New York City children through our free community programs:
- 27,573 kids in 60 schools made exercise a priority with our Recess Enhancement Program
- 2,333 children in 39 schools learned to swim with Waterproofing
- 659 students from 14 middle schools became part of a team with our Community Sports Leagues
- 295 scholarships for our camps and sports programs were awarded to New Yorkers in need
Thank you for helping us exceed our fundraising goal! And thank you for continuing to believe in our mission to bring sports and fitness opportunities to all communities. Together, we are truly doing our part to make New York City a fit city.
