We offer a range of learn-to-swim, hydrotherapy and water exercise classes for children with disabilities, including:

  • Beginner Swim for People with Disabilities
  • Adapted Swim/Exercise Class
  • Advanced/Deep Water Swim Class
  • One-on-one instruction

Our 50-meter pool is equipped with 2 hydraulic lift chairs. Our warm-water Teaching & Exercise Pool has a moveable bottom which is ideal to lower participants into the water.

Beginning Swim/Persons with Disabilities (4-12): Fall

Kids with disabilities can gain tremendous confidence by spending time in the water practicing stroke movement patterns and exercises. This class emphasizes floating, kicking, use of arms and submersion. For interview/placement, please call 212.369.8890. ext. 2082.

Adapted Swim/Deep Water Swim for Children with Disabilities: Fall

This class, for children of all ages, provides basic swimming techniques and aquatic exercise adapted to the needs of each child. Participants should have familiarity with an aquatic class setting.
