Asphalt Green offers one of the most popular private swim lesson programs in the NYC area. New York Magazine voted Asphalt Green’s private swimming lessons the best in New York! Students get one-on-one attention from our expert instructors in our 50-meter Olympic Pool and our warm-water teaching pool. Students are carefully matched with instructors that specialize in their areas of need. Private lessons are great for beginners, swimmers who are in between levels, those who need to focus on a particular stroke, or would like a little more individual attention.

Registration

We are currently accepting registration request forms for the fall full term and the first session of the fall term. Lessons are scheduled with the same instructor for the same day and time throughout the term. The full term runs from Sept 11-Dec 23 and the first session runs from Sept 11-Oct 29. The number of lessons will depend on the day of week that the lessons are scheduled.

To sign up for private lessons, fill out the online registration form. We do not accept phone or drop-in registration. Once the request form is submitted and processed, a member of the Asphalt Green aquatics staff will contact you for scheduling. The completed form will give us all the information necessary to find a suitable time and instructor and it also includes a section where special requests can be written. Once the form is submitted you will receive an email that will confirm that we have received it. Please remember that participants must be at least 3 years old to register for private swim lessons.

Cost
½ hour = $65 per lesson
1 hour = $130 per lesson

The exact number of lessons depends on the start date and package type. The schedule and price quote will be sent via email after a registration form has been submitted.

NOTE: All lessons are 1-on-1 and AG does not offer semi-private lessons (e.g. 2 students to 1 instructor)
