Asphalt Green Wave Soccer is a competitive, tryout based soccer club on the Upper East Side in New York City. We are committed to total player development
and encourage our players to strive to be their best on and off the field. Our program is designed for players to excel and aspire to the highest level of
competition during their club years and beyond into college soccer programs.

- U9-U11, 8-10am
- U12 and up, 10am-12pm
U7 players must have been born between August 1, 2006 to July 31, 2007
U8 players must have been born between August 1, 2005 to July 31,2006
U9 players must have been born between August 1, 2004 to July 31, 2005
U10 players must have been born between August 1, 2003 to July 31, 2004
U11 players must have been born between August 1, 2002 to July 31, 2003
U12 players must have been born between August 1, 2001 to July 31, 2002
U13 players must have been born between August 1, 2000 to July 31, 2001
U14 players must have been born between August 1, 1999 to July 31, 2000
U15 players must have been born between August 1, 1998 to July 31, 1999
U16 players must have been born between August 1, 1997 to July 31, 1998
U17 players must have been born between August 1, 1996 to July 31, 1997

*Please wear a white shirt, shin guards, soccer shoes (turfs or cleats), and bring a water bottle.
*U7s & U8s need to bring a size 3 ball
*U9-U12 need to bring a size 4 ball

*Please arrive at least 30 minutes early for check-in and warm-up.
*Please make every attempt to attend both tryouts for consideration.
President of Green Wave Soccer & Associate Director of Youth Sports: Sandra Weingart
Sandra is new to Asphalt Green as of March 2012. Previously, she's been an Athletic Director in Seattle, WA, a Director of Coaching for a select club in
Edmonds, WA (F.C. Edmonds), a social worker and journalist in Portland, OR, and has coached various youth sports and levels of play including ODP, Rec,
Academy, Select, and Premier. Before moving back to New York (where she's originally from), Sandra played NCAA Division 1 soccer in college at Belmont
University in Nashville, TN and semi-pro in Portland, Oregon. As a young player, she played for the ODP NY State West Regional Pool, the 1995, 1996,
1997 State Championship select club team--the Ithaca Storm in Ithaca, NY, and is the all-time leading scorer and assistor at Dryden High School in Dryden,
NY. She has a B.S. in Journalism, completed Master's work in Education at UNLV, and holds a Master's in Public Administration and Non-Profit Leadership and
Policy from Seattle University.
Green Wave Technical Director: Adam Perez
Adam has been with Asphalt Green for 2 ½ years, as a travel soccer coach
for the Asphalt Green Wave Soccer Program and as an instructor for our SAQ
Academy, a program he built to improve the performance, speed, agility and
reaction times of his players. He and his teams have won several league
championships and sportsmanship awards. Before coming to New York and Asphalt
Green, Adam coached at several soccer academies and high schools in California.
He was the three-time high school coach of the year for Willow Glen High
School, winning two league titles and a state championship. He played NCAA
Division 1 college soccer at San Jose State University. He then played
semi-professionally for Real San Jose in the National Premier Soccer League,
and was a three-time All Star.
Coaching Staff
Our staff includes former collegiate, club and/or high school and/or semi/pro
players, NSCAA and USSF licensed coaches, former college coaches, who possess
the abundance of youth coaching experience and knowledge necessary to ready our
young players for the next level of play.
