Aquatics Swim Instructors
Upper East Side and Battery Park City
We are hiring swim instructors for both locations for Spring 2012. General information on the position follows:
- Weekday shifts begin earliest at 8am and can go until 8pm
- Weekend shifts begin at 9am-6pm
- Shifts for Asphalt Green Battery Park City will start training in March (note the training rate of pay is $10.00 per hour)

Gymastics Coach - Part Time
Upper East Side
Weekends only!
We are currently looking for an experienced Gymnastics Coach interested in working with recreational levels 1-3. This is a part time position with the approximate following schedule:
- Saturday 9:00 am – 1:30 pm
- Sunday 9:00 am – 4:00pm
Note that these are the only shifts available at this time.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct recreational classes ($20.00 per hour), cover private lessons as needed ($30.00 per hour) and provide entertainment forr birthday parties, again as needed ($50.00 per hour)
- Create a sense of celebration and fun throughout the programs, classes and events
- Maintain attendance records for gymnasts
Qualified individuals will have experience coaching and instructing very young gymnasts.

Lifeguard Training (ages 15 & up): Spring
Our condensed four-day course is approximately 30 hours in length and includes American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certifications. Prerequisites include the demonstrated ability to swim freestyle or breaststroke continuously for 300 yards, a timed event for the retrieval of a 10-pound brick from a minimum depth of 7 feet and treading water continuously for 2 minutes while only using a proper kick. |
