Two Asphalt Green Masters swimmers, Doug Irgang and Andrew Fisher, died on 9/11. The Swim for the Future Scholarship was created in their memory. It has helped make AGUA the most diverse team in the country.

Swim for the Future scholarships make it possible for talented, dedicated children who need financial support to swim with Asphalt Green's competitive swim team, AGUA. Since 2001, 195 scholarships have been awarded, making it possible for recipients to compete at the Junior Olympics, Olympic Trials, and international competitions. This summer, Swim for the Future recipient Lia Neal won a Bronze medal in the 4 x 100 freestyle relay in the 2012 Olympic Games in London!

A full, year-long scholarship costs $3,805 and begins a lifetime of confidence and success in and out of the pool. Our Swim for the Future scholarship recipients break national age group records, realize their athletic potential, and learn valuable lessons about character, dedication, and teamwork.

Our swimmers have the opportunity to succeed because of individual donors.
