Andrew Fisher and Doug Irgang, two beloved Masters swimmers, died on September 11, 2001. In the ten years since that day, their families and thousands of Asphalt Green supporters created a legacy of perseverance, excellence, and compassion through the Swim for the Future scholarship program.
Swim for the Future scholarships make it possible for talented, dedicated children who need financial support to swim with Asphalt Green’s competitive swim team, AGUA. Since 2001, 169 scholarships have been awarded, making it possible for recipients to compete at the Junior Olympics, Olympic Trials, and international competitions. Learn more about AGUA and our scholarship awardees here.
A full, year-long scholarship costs $3,600 and begins a lifetime of confidence and success in and out of the pool. Our Swim for the Future scholarship recipients break national age group records, realize their potential in the pool, and learn valuable lessons about character, dedication, and teamwork. Our swimmers have the opportunity to succeed in the sport because of individual donors. Please donate to Swim for the Future.
