Certain restrictions apply, including year-long classes and camps. This discount is not available to Asphalt Green members and cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.
Is there a reduced rate for seniors?
Asphalt Green offers many courses to older adults at reduced rates. If you are 62 years or older, you may enroll in courses at the senior fee where indicated. This discount rate does not apply to specialty programs, workshops or special events. Proof of age (such as Medicare card, driver’s license or passport) is required upon registration.

What is your refund policy?
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Registration Office. Refunds are computed from the date received (not postmarked).
The program refund schedule is as follows:
- 100% refund: written request must be received 1 week prior to the first scheduled class.
- 75% refund: written request must be received 2 days prior to the second scheduled class.
NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT will be granted after the second scheduled class session. Refunds are not available for late registration.
All Asphalt Green programs are subject to change or cancellation. Asphalt Green cannot be responsible for providing make-ups, credits or issuing refunds for programs missed as a result of illness, emergencies or other events beyond the control of Asphalt Green.
The handling charge for all requested refunds is $15. Please allow four to six weeks from receipt for processing a refund request. Registration handling fees are not refundable.
For some programs, such as year-long programs and camps, there may be exceptions which will supersede the above policy.
Do you ever cancel classes?
Asphalt Green reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Cancellation decisions may be made up to the third week of classes. Every attempt will be made to inform those registered of the cancellation. When possible, Asphalt Green will provide an alternate class. If this is not possible, a credit or refund will be issued to the registrant.
Should Asphalt Green cancel a class due to an unforeseen, uncontrollable circumstance, e.g. pool closure, you will automatically receive a credit for the cancelled class. Your credit will be kept on file at the Registration Office for one full year. When you register for another class, you must tell the Registration Office that you have a credit on file, prior to paying for the class. They will then apply your credit to the new class. Please note, you will not receive a credit letter in the mail for each cancelled class. Should you elect to receive a refund for the cancelled class, please call the Registration Office prior to the end of the term.
What is your make-up policy?
Class participants register for classes, which meet on specific days and times. Unless Asphalt Green cancels a class, attendance in scheduled classes is the responsibility of the participants. We cannot provide refunds or make-up classes or allow the participant to attend a different class when the absence has been the sole responsibility of the participant.
Do you ever close due to adverse weather conditions?
Asphalt Green will make every effort to be open in inclement weather. It is advisable to call before coming to Asphalt Green at such times. Whenever possible, a make-up class will be scheduled for weather cancellations. If we cannot schedule a make-up, a credit will be issued valid for 12 months from the date issued.
