Flag Football

Asphalt Green offers a unique flag football development program. Our program provides players the opportunity to gain more confidence in our skill development classes while also offering opportunities to train and excel at a high level through our private training sessions. Our experienced coaching staff will provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment for players of all abilities.

Middies Flag Football Academy (ages 7-9): Fall Our Middies flag football class provides a great training environment to develop passing, catching and carrying skills, as well as offensive and defensive principles. Junior Flag Football Academy (ages 10-14): Fall Our Junior flag football class provides a great training environment to develop basic football skills even further, while emphasizing small group activities and team games. Class Details: Class takes place on the field. Youth Flag Football League (ages 8-13): Fall Asphalt Green’s NFL FLAG Football League provides expert instruction along with game play, in a fun but competitive environment, to develop individual skills and teamwork. Class Details: For the first two weeks, all players will participate in our three hour mini-camps where our expert coaches teach everything from the basics of football to position specific drills to offensive and defensive concepts. The remaining weeks are broken into one and a half hour blocks with the younger group participating from 6 - 7:30 pm and the older group participating from 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Each age group’s time consist of a 45 minute practice followed by a 45 minute game. Each team will be designated one of our instructors as their coach and every player will get equal playing time and the opportunity to play multiple positions.
