Our new Middies Hitting Academy sharpens players’ offensive skills, with an emphasis on proper batting mechanics, situational hitting and hand-eye coordination. Use of our pitching machines, batting tees, soft toss machines and other effective tools will prepare athletes for competitive baseball.

Our new Middies Fielding Academy focuses on the proper fundamentals of playing defense in baseball. Fielding groundballs and fly balls, along with basic catching and throwing will be covered, with an emphasis on situational defense. Our expert coaches will help mold each baseball player into a confident defender.

Our baseball academy for hitters focuses on proper swing movements, making consistent contact, hitting for more power and in game hitting situations.

CLASS DETAILS: Classes take place in the Batting Tunnel or Mazur Hall (weather permitting) at the Murphy Center.

Reviewing and building on the skills learned in our Pee Wee classes, our new Middies curriculum adds more advanced skills as players become capable of completing the movements required to make a relay throw, backhand a ground ball, etc., improving players of all abilities.
