Swim for the Future Scholarships
Since 2001, 169 scholarships have been awarded to deserving young swimmers on the AGUA team. These swimmers excelled in the swimming world at Olympic Trials, Junior Olympics, Senior Nationals, Junior Nationals, Eastern Zones Championships, Sectional Championships, and the National Junior Team while breaking personal, team, and national age group records. Application Process
Asphalt Green is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Swim for the Future Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to dedicated, talented swimmers on the AGUA Team who have financial need.
The Swim for the Future Scholarship program began after two Asphalt Green Masters swimmers, Andrew Fisher and Doug Irgang, tragically lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The program was created by family, friends, teammates and Asphalt Green to honor Andrew and Doug’s spirit and overall commitment to excellence.
The scholarship process has changed. Applications are now submitted online through a company called TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) that specializes in financial aid assistance.
Applications are due by July 8, 2011 with all financial forms and essay questions. Please be sure your child spends time on the essays as they will be a large part of the review. There will also be an interview process in early August.

TADS asks that you upload several documents, including the essay questions. Below is a link to a practice worksheet that outlines what financial information is requested.
