Learn to RUN and LOVE IT! To get fit for your first New York Road Runner race this summer: The Achilles Hope and Possibility 5-miler on June 27th. Running this race is not a requirement, but an attainable goal after completing the 6-week training.
Experienced runner of over 15 years, MaryBeth, will train you to run a 5-mile race around Central Park; while learning to love running at the same time. All levels of running welcome! Group will leave from Asphalt Green’s 5th Floor and go out on a different type of run each week.
Workouts will vary in course; and type:
- Intervals
- Tempo runs
- CHI runs
Requirement: Being able to run 1-mile without stopping
