Simply Tri: Spring/Summer

Simply Tri is a 16-week group exercise program designed to help participants build a healthy, active lifestyle and shed a few pounds while training for a mini-distance triathlon and the newest part of the program a Duathlon . No single exercise is the key to a healthier you – it’s everything executed together that produces the best results! As such, Simply Tri borrows many principles from triathlon training by combining swimming, cycling, running, strength training, flexibility and nutritional coaching into one, easy-to-follow, exercise program.

Each week the certified coach/ Trainer will provide 6 workouts. Three of those workouts are performed together in a group exercise format and the other three workouts are to be performed solo or with a friend. As you progress through the program you’ll begin seeing your desired improvements in technique, strength, and energy, which in turn will give you the confidence to complete a mini-distance Triathlon or Duathlon with the group as a team!

The 16 week Program includes:

  • 51 coached group workouts(34 for the Duathlon)
  • 6 day workout plan per week provided by coach / fitness professional
  • One hour weight loss program orientation with five one hour dietitian consultations
  • Access to a food journal monitored by dietitian
  • Strength training program with three guided sessions by a certified trainer
  • Unlimited access with coach / personal trainer
  • Goal assessments
  • Educational literature
  • Free triathlon-based educational workshops
  • Access to metabolic and v02 max testing
  • Swim video analysis

Orientation Session: Will be held in the 5th floor conference room.

  • Wednesday, February 8, 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Schedule:

  • Run (Central Park/Aqua Center) - Tuesday Evening - 7:00pm
  • Swim (AG Aqua Center Pool) - Wednesday - 9:00pm
  • Bike (Central Park/AG Spin Room) - Saturday - 7:00am

*Weds evening coached spin/cycling class available for an additional fee.
