Asphalt Green runs a special developmental gymnastics program just for girls. Established in 2008, the program serves 40 girls ages 6-9 primarily from East Harlem and the Bronx. Perhaps more than any other sport, gymnastics builds physical strength and self-confidence. Through world-class instruction and hard work, girls develop their skills and gain confidence that carries over to all aspects of life. We celebrate these achievements with exhibitions where girls show-off their new skills. At the age of ten, Asphalt Green offers girls who show the interest and ability to compete an avenue toward joining our competitive team.
