Philosophy

Nancy has been in the fitness business for more than 20 years as a trainer, manager, and educator. She is a Master Teacher for ACE; has taught CPR for more than two decades; has been a "trainer on the set" for several magazines; and has presented at regional ACSM Chapter annual meetings. Her specialties include orthopedic and metabolic conditions; beginner and experienced clientele; injury prevention; and sport-specific training. Nancy's fitness philosophy is that one should be in shape to enjoy playing the sports or doing the activities one loves, and that with a little work, movement can be fun.

Philosophy

Ian was introduced to weight training at the young age of thirteen, when he spent the summer with strength coach Charles Staley. Ian has always had a passion for learning and has pursued education both inside and outside the classroom. He believes that each training program should encompass all the core components of fitness, and be specific to each individual. Ian is currently training as a wrestler and pursuing a career as a firefighter here in New York City. He believes that with dedication, hard work and persistence everyone can reach their goals. Involved in the sports and fitness industry for more than 20 years, Leslie was a competitive Judo champion winning seven consecutive gold medals in the Empire State Games as well as a Junior Olympic Gold Medalist. Veronica has worked with populations ranging from athletes to the elderly. She believes that each workout is an opportunity to start or revitalize a commitment to health. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, her practice includes Swedish, deep-tissue, energetic bodywork, joint mobilization, and acupressure to stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. Pat is living proof of the transformational power of fitness.
