Upper East Side Pools Closed September 9-10: Where You Can Swim
The pools at our Upper East Side campus will remain closed Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 due to the filter installation taking longer than anticipated. Installing new filters is a large undertaking, and we were working on a tight schedule in hopes of reopening the pools as soon as possible. After careful consideration, our staff has determined we need extra time to complete the process. The pools are now expected to open Monday, September 11 at 5:30am.
We have arranged for alternative swim options this Saturday (September 9) in the area. There will be no programs or member swim Sunday, September 10. The fitness center is open as regularly scheduled.
WHERE TO SWIM SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9
Sacred Heart (dedicated swim for Asphalt Green users only)
Location: 406 E. 91st St.
- Masters swim team practice: 7am – 8am
- Member swim: 8am – 10am and 4pm – 6pm (three lanes)
Asphalt Green’s Battery Park City campus

All family recreational and adult swim is canceled. If you are enrolled in our swim classes or leagues, keep a lookout for an email detailing how your program has been affected.
