Asphalt Green instructor Abby Kaufmann is bringing Total Body 1 to your living room for an at-home workout tailored to active older adults.

All you need is a set of light weights, a yoga block, and a chair. No weights? No problem! Grab a set of cans and a book. Don’t forget to keep your water nearby!

Before you begin:

  • Make sure your space is clear of clutter.

  • Get all of your props prepared before you start class.

  • Listen to Abby closely for safe cuing and try to follow her pace. 

  • If you need a break, stop, sit, and come back when you are ready.

  • Do not overstrain; if anything does not feel good, either modify or march/step in place.

  • Take water breaks as needed.

  • Focus on your breath throughout the routine.

  • Pay attention to posture – connect your mind to the movement.

  • Have fun!
