Beginner Private Swim Lessons for Adults

Asphalt Green offers one of the most popular private swim lesson programs in the NYC area. New York Magazine voted Asphalt Green’s private swimming lessons the best in New York! Students get one-on-one attention from our expert instructors in our 50-meter Olympic Pool. Students are carefully matched with instructors that specialize in their areas of need. Our instructors have experience with students of all ability levels from those that are fearful of the water to those that want stroke refinement.

One of the benefits of learning to swim at Asphalt Green is that there are a number of classes and programs specifically for adults. These programs ranges from water exercise classes to an adult swim team and everything in between. For a list of our other adult swimming programs go here.

Registration for Beginner Private Swim Lessons

Registration for private swimming lessons has closed until June 5th and will re-open then for the summer term. That term will run from June 24th until August 17th. We have had an overwhelming demand for lessons and are currently unable to accommodate any new registrants. If you have already submitted a request form you will be contacted by the Aquatics team for scheduling in the order in which your form was received. Please check back with us in June if you are interested in signing up. Registration may only be done online and a link to the form will be on this webpage.

Cost
½ hour = $67 per lesson
1 hour = $134 per lesson

The exact number of lessons depends on the start date and package type. The schedule and price quote will be sent via email after a registration form has been submitted.

NOTE: All lessons are 1-on-1 and Asphalt Green does not offer semi-private lessons (e.g. 2 students to 1 instructor)
