Years working at Asphalt Green: This will be my second year.

Previous camp experience: I worked at a sports camp prior to Asphalt Green.

Reason for becoming a division leader: I love camp, the kids, and the energy they bring to camp every day. I also enjoy the administrative aspect of the job.

Most looking forward to: I’m looking forward to the field trips and awesome events and activities that are planned this year.

Ali Siegel

Campus: Upper East Side

Years working at Asphalt Green: This will be my fifth year.

Previous camp experience: I worked at a sleepaway camp in upstate New York and at day camps in the suburbs for many years.

Reason for becoming a division leader: I am an elementary school social worker during the school year, and since I have the summers off, I have the opportunity to work with children at camp. Camps have been a huge part of my childhood, and I love that I can enable children to have the same kind of experience that I had.

Most looking forward to: I am looking forward to meeting new campers and staff, helping children learn new things, and helping children conquer fears.

Favorite camp memory: My favorite memories are making lasting friendships and learning new things.

Years working at Asphalt Green: This will be my second summer.

Previous camp experience: I have worked at summer camps since I was in high school.

Reason for becoming a division leader: I wanted to take on more responsibility during my time at Asphalt Green and thought a division leader role would give me the ability to oversee daily group activities. I will be responsible for the sports and special activities at camp during the summer.

Most looking forward to: I’m most forward looking to taking on a new position and learning all there is to learn about being in a management role at Asphalt Green.

Favorite camp memory: Free swim and sports were my favorite activities.

Michelle Roit

Reason for becoming a division leader: Asphalt Green has an excellent reputation, opportunity for growth, and is close to my home. I will be responsible for the Counselors in Training division and coordinating special events.

Most looking forward to: I can’t wait to dress up for all the theme days, trips, and perform at the talent shows.

Favorite camp memory: My favorite part of camp was always color war!
