Asphalt Green offers an array of certifications throughout the year including American Red Cross certifications which are national certifications that satisfy many job requirements for the professional rescuer or health care provider.

To participate in any of our American Red Cross courses, please select your program:

  • Lifeguard Programs — Earn your American Red Cross lifeguard certification at Asphalt Green. This course equips you with essential skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies, covering care for breathing, cardiac issues, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency personnel arrive. Learn crucial techniques such as first aid and CPR in a minimum of 29 hours, both in and out of the water, with mandatory class attendance. Successful completion grants a two-year lifeguarding certification, including first aid, CPR for the professional rescuer, and AED. Requirements include swimming 300 yards of freestyle or breaststroke, a timed 20-yard swim, a surface dive to retrieve a 10-pound brick from a minimum seven-foot depth, and treading water for two minutes with proper kick technique.
  • CPR and AED Programs — Unlock lifesaving skills in our CPR & AED for the Professional Rescuer class. This single-session program accommodates various skill levels and ensures you master crucial techniques, equipping you to respond effectively in emergency situations. Don't miss the opportunity to gain valuable CPR and AED skills to make a difference when it matters most.
  • NEW! Lifeguard Review Class — Lifeguard recertification can be achieved with Lifeguarding Review classes that refresh your knowledge and skills and update your certification for another two years. To participate in the Lifeguard Review class you must have a current lifeguard certification, or certification expired by no more than 30 days.
