SWIM ACADEMY

Classes are designed by age and ability. Please read the class descriptions on our website to decide which class is right for you. In some cases, prerequisite skills or prior approval is required before registering for a class. If you have any questions, please contact the AGUA Swim Academy.

There is no fee for parents and guardians to watch their child participate in our paid programs.  We do require that all youth participants have parent/guardian on-site and available in case of emergency.  Spectators are asked to view from the designated viewing areas.  Parent/guardians are responsible for taking their child to the restroom if assistance is needed. 

If you would like to utilize the facilities while your child participates in class, you must be an active member or pay the drop-in fee of $35.00. 

Select class offerings require parent/guardian participation.  Those classes are clearly labeled for your convenience.  These classes are great for relationship building and provide a unique bonding experience.   

During the early weeks of the semester, should our instructor deem your child too advanced, they will discuss appropriate options with you and the program manager. Our instructors are continually evaluating class participants and determining ways for improvement. If a promotion is recommended, this will be communicated to the family as soon as possible.  Most transfers are completed within the first two weeks of the term.   

We recommend all participants bring the following: 

• Swimsuit 

• Towel 

• Swim cap (required for participants with hair length past their chin) 

• Goggles (optional but strongly recommended) 

• Pool deck footwear (at your discretion) 

• Lock for locker room (for the safety of your possessions) 

For children under the age of 3 years old, add: 

• Rubberized swim diaper 
• Disposable swim diaper
