Waterproofing

Expanding Access to Swim

For over a decade, Asphalt Green’s Waterproofing program has been the leading free swim-instruction program in New York City, helping thousands of public school students learn to safely enjoy the water.

We share this free program to teach second-grade students this essential, life-preserving skill while also helping them develop confidence and perseverance.

Classes are only available to participating schools. To learn more, please contact our Waterproofing team via email at [email protected]

Grant Avenue has been partnering with Asphalt Green Waterworks for years and I can attest to the fact that this program is life changing. I am in the company of the brave and strong 2nd grade students who are in the pool right now- and my heart and ears and eyes are overflowing with JOY and gratitude!

[My 3rd grade student’s] transformation has been a joy to witness. Not only has he found excitement and joy in swimming, but this progress has significantly bolstered his confidence and motivation. His pride in his swimming achievements is palpable when he yells out ‘I did it! Did you see it?’
