Play Days

Each Play Day is designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun from drop-off to pickup. Children are grouped by age and spend the day rotating through a variety of activities, which may include swimming, sports, fitness, recreation, art, music, yoga, martial arts, and more. While the exact schedule may vary by day, every Play Day is built around movement, social connection, and safe, structured play in Asphalt Green’s facilities. Program hours are 8:45am–3:15pm, and families should pack a nut-free lunch, water bottle, swimsuit, goggles, towel, and swim cap if needed. A nut-free afternoon snack is provided.

We offer a limited number of single-day Play Days on holidays such as Veterans Day and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Play Day offerings for longer school breaks are offered in multi-day packages only. We do not offer single day options for the longer Play Days; you must sign up for the entire multi-day package.

September through June during school breaks and holidays.

Program hours are 8:45am – 3:15pm, and extended hours are not available.

Yes, early pickups are allowed until 3pm. If you’re planning to pick your child up early, please notify the camps team in advance.

Each day, participants should pack a nut-free lunch, water bottle, swimsuit, goggles, towel, and swim cap if their hair falls below their chin. A daily, nut-free snack is provided each afternoon.

Asphalt Green reserves the right to cancel Play Days due to inclement weather if it is determined that staff/participant travel conditions are unsafe. In the event of cancellations, makeup days in a subsequent Play Day program will be offered during the current season.  Parents/guardians will be notified of cancellations by email at least two hours before the scheduled start time for the day.

We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all Play Days participants. If your child has any particular physical, behavioral, social, or emotional needs, please email our Play Days team at least two business days prior to the start of any Play Day(s) you are interested in so we can find a time to connect and learn more about your family’s needs. If it is determined that 1-to-1 staff support will best support your child at Play Days, then Asphalt Green will work to provide a 1-to-1 support staff at an additional cost, or — if you’re providing the 1-to-1 support member — ask for proof of a background check.
