Take the Leap and Dive In 

Asphalt Green’s Adult Springboard Diving course teaches basic diving skills, including tuck rolls, tuck dives, pike dives, front hurdles, open and closed pike positions, and proper hand placement for rip-entry. The instructor will also cover diving vocabulary, diving board safety, and exercises and stretches to prevent injury and improve diving practice.

The Adult Springboard Diving program at Asphalt Green’s Upper East Side campus is designed for adults of all skill levels who want to learn or improve their diving techniques. It’s a supportive and fun environment to develop skills, build confidence, and enjoy the thrill of diving.

This program is open to adults aged 18 and older. Whether you’re a beginner or have some diving experience, our classes are tailored to meet your skill level. Participants should be comfortable swimming in deep water. 

Participants will learn:

  • Proper diving form and technique
  • Approaches and takeoffs
  • Safe entries into the water
  • Progression of dives based on skill level (front dives, back dives, and beyond)

Classes take place at Asphalt Green’s state-of-the-art aquatics facility on the Upper East Side, featuring competition-grade diving boards.
