The AGUA Masters Swim Team dodged New York’s latest Nor’easter. From March 22-25, 15 Masters members took their training to Sarasota, Fla., trading snowmen for sand castles.

The annual training trip was the perfect combination of swimming, relaxing by the beach and pool, and enjoying excellent meals with beautiful ocean views. Over the course of the long weekend, athletes completed up to six swimming workouts, and some even joined Coach Craig for a run.

The scenic background was the perfect setting to focus on technique. Special shoutouts to Irene Joyce Melchoir, Carrie Sackett, and Gene Schloss for making every grueling workout.

Next year’s trip is already on our minds. See some of the best moments from Florida in the pictures above.
