Bela grew up playing water polo from an early age in his native country, Hungary. He played professionally for the club Vasas SC in Budapest and was a Hungarian Cup winner. He competed against top European teams and contributed to league wins in each of his two seasons with the club. After moving to the United States, he remained involved with water polo, joining the Asphalt Green competitive team and coaching at the youth and adult levels. His goal is to help players of all ages develop skills and foster a love for the sport.
Matthew started playing water polo as a preteen in St. Louis, Mo., where he was an integral part of two state championship teams. After high school, he continued playing at Fordham University (NCAA Division 1) and was nationally recognized as a scholar athlete. Matt has played for various clubs in St. Louis and New York City, traveling overseas to participate in international tournaments. After graduating, he served as assistant coach of Fordham University's water polo team and as head coach of the Hudson Valley Region team. His goal is to teach the fundamentals of water polo while strengthening individual character through hard work and teamwork.
