The Brooklyn Nets hosted its inaugural summer basketball academy at Asphalt Green August 21 to August 25. Kids ages 6 to 14 participated in drills and games, received camp uniforms, and met Nets players.
Stars D’Angelo Russel, Allen Crabbe, Sean Kilpatrick, and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson visited over the duration of the camp. Kids had the opportunity to ask questions, get tips, and play alongside their idols. One lucky camper and member of our 10U competitive team, Benjamin Goldwyn, even competed against D’Angelo Russel in a game of Horse in front of the entire camp. Over 20 players from Asphalt Green basketball programs participated.
