Campers were in spirit of giving last week for our annual Coins for Campers fundraiser. The smallest members of our community came together in a big way to raise money for camp scholarships.

Campers sold lemonade in their neighborhoods, rallied support from their families, and emptied their piggy banks to give more kids the opportunity to experience Summer Day Camp. By the end the week (July 15-19), they raised $13,282.50.

Watching the total rise each day was exciting and motivating. There was a friendly competition among the camp groups to see who could raise the most money.

This year's winners are:

  • Battery Park City: Teddy 3
  • Upper East Side: Leopard 1

The winners get a special treat. The grand prize for our Battery Park City campus is a trip to Pip's Island for an immersive theatrical adventure. Our Upper East Side winners get to exercise their creative sides at AR Workshop.

Big thank yous also go to all of our campers for supporting our scholarships and giving even more kids the opportunity to experience camp.
