Now that the Coins for Campers Summer Day Camp coin drive is over, it’s time to party!
Our winning fundraising groups were treated to a day of cooking and dining at ATRIO, a restaurant at the Conrad New York hotel.
Under the guidance of chef Antonio Cardoso, our Battery Park City winners, Teddy 3, and our Upper East Side winners, Cardinal 2, were made sous chefs for the day. Complete with tall hats and aprons, our children made pasta from scratch and then enjoyed it as part of a three-course meal. The menu included a salad, their homemade cheese ravioli, and ice pops by People’s Pops!
All of the children were given the Conrad bull plush toy to remember the cooking experience. A big thank you to Conrad New York for providing the grand prize and customizing a memorable afternoon for our campers!
