Asphalt Green has something for every family to keep the momentum going this summer. Free community events, outdoor workouts, swimming opportunities, camps, and family favorites are all happening through September, and you’re invited to join!

Big Kick
July 18 | 3:30pm–6:30pm | Upper East Side | Free
Asphalt Green’s annual outdoor soccer festival is back — and this year, it lands right in the heart of 2026 FIFA World Cup season. Come out to Litwin Field on the Upper East Side for soccer-themed activities, live entertainment, and giveaways for the whole family. Whether your kids are die-hard players or you just want to soak in the energy of the world’s most-watched tournament, Big Kick is the place to be. All ages, all skill levels, all welcome — no cost to join.
Sprinkler Day
August 8 | 12pm–3pm | Upper East Side | Free
One of Asphalt Green’s most beloved warm-weather traditions. Pack a towel, grab the family, and cool off with an afternoon of water play, inflatable water slides, and music on our Upper East Side campus. It’s the kind of spontaneous, joyful afternoon that New York summers are made for — and it won’t cost you a thing.
Outdoor HIIT Camp
June 1–September 11 | Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 7am | Upper East Side | Free
If you’ve been meaning to build a morning workout habit, this is your opening. Outdoor HIIT Camp runs three mornings a week all summer long — free of charge — right on the Upper East Side campus. Led by Asphalt Green fitness professionals, this high-intensity interval training class is designed to challenge you, push you, and send you into your day feeling like you earned it. No gym membership is required.
World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™
June 25 | Times Vary | Upper East Side, Battery Park City, and Harlem | Registration Required
Each year, Asphalt Green joins thousands of aquatic facilities around the world in participating in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ — a global event dedicated to promoting water safety and reducing drowning. This year, we’re hosting all three of our pool locations: Upper East Side, Battery Park City, and Harlem. Come be part of something bigger than just a swimming lesson.
Sunrise Yoga #2

Another chance to catch the morning at its best and start your day alongside the AG Fitness community. The second session of Sunrise Yoga returns to Battery Park City in mid-July, free and open to all. If you missed the June session or want to return for more, mark your calendar now.
Work Out, Wine Down #2
July 22 | 6:30pm–8pm | Upper East Side | Members + Guests
The summer’s second Work Out, Wine Down brings the same formula back: outdoor workout, good company, and a glass of wine to close out the evening. If you missed the first one — or just loved it, and want to run it back — this is your chance.
Yoga & Sound Bath
July 22 | 7pm–8:30pm | Upper East Side | Free for Members / $25 for Non-Members
Slow down and reset with an outdoor yoga and sound bath experience. Led by open-level instructors and set to live instruments in partnership with HeartTones Sounds, this 90-minute session pairs a 45-minute yoga flow with an immersive 45-minute sound bath therapy. It’s equal parts movement and meditation — exactly what a summer evening should feel like.
AGUA Swim Team Open Tryouts
August 11 & 12 | Times Vary | Upper East Side and Battery Park City | Registration Required
Is your child ready to take their swim journey to the next level? AGUA Open Tryouts give young swimmers the chance to join one of New York City’s premier competitive swim programs. AGUA athletes train at a high level while developing discipline, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the sport. Tryouts are held at both the Upper East Side and Battery Park City locations — find the session that works for your family.
