Run With Us So Others Can Too: Running with team Asphalt Green will benefit thousands of underserved New Yorkers. All donations will go directly advancing our mission to transform lives through sports, fitness, and play for all through the following programs:
- School-Based Programming – Our Recess Enhancement Program and After School Programs serve tens of thousands elementary school kids from more than 100 schools each year.
- Swim Instruction – Our Waterproofing program continues to provide instruction for 50 schools in low-income neighborhoods throughout New York City free of charge.
- Sports Scholarships – In the past fiscal year, we’ve provided more than $430,000 in scholarships to over 100 athletes with demonstrated financial need.
- Community Programs & Sports Leagues – In the past decade, over 20,000 kids from New York City schools have played in Asphalt Green’s Community Sports Leagues. Meanwhile, our free exercise programs in partnership with the NYC Department of Aging continue to serve countless older adults.
