Q: How long have you been working at Asphalt Green?
A: I’ve been working at Asphalt Green for two years.
Q: What do you do at Asphalt Green?
A: I work with young athletes to develop their talents and help them build a strong base from which to further their athletic endeavors.
Q: What is your favorite aspect of working at Asphalt Green?
A: I enjoy seeing the happiness on an athlete’s face when they accomplish something they have not been able to do before.
Q: What is one of your fondest memories of working at Asphalt Green so far?
A: I vividly remember watching my players pour everything they had onto the field during a freezing cold championship game.
Q: How did you get into the sports industry?
A: I played football in high school and college, basketball in high school, and track in college. I began coaching right out of college. I jumped right into football and track and field, eventually expanding my scope to include speed, agility, and strength training.
Q: What is your favorite sport to watch?
A: I enjoy watching basketball.
Q: Who is your favorite sports team? Why?
A: The Los Angeles Lakers are my favorite sports team because they have established a gold standard in professional sports, winning 16 championships. The players and staff are treated well, and they adopt the mindset to always compete at the highest level.
Q: What is the best sports tip you’ve received or favorite tip to share with players?
A: It’s all about the footwork and the core. If you can stay balanced, you will always find yourself with a chance to make a play.
Q: Please provide a fun fact about yourself?
A: I have two daughters, ages 3 years and 5 months.
