At Asphalt Green’s Upper East Side campus, Litwin Field — our 90,000 sq. foot outdoor turf field — is available for public use during designated times.

Field Rules

To help all Asphalt Green members and guests safely enjoy the facility, please review the following field rules:

  • Lace Up: Bare feet and metal cleats are prohibited.
  • No Ticket To Ride: Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, ATVs, hoverboards, and drones are prohibited.
  • Hang Out, not On: Hanging on nets and goals is prohibited.
  • Play by the Rules: Permits are required for hardball sports like lacrosse, baseball, field hockey, and golf.
  • Save Lunch for Later: Food, gum, glass, barbequing, and open fires of any kind are prohibited.
  • Substance-Free: Illegal substances, smoking, and alcohol are prohibited.
  • Leave Home at Home: Pets, beach chairs and other furniture are prohibited.
  • Know You Role: Play at your own risk, obey security and staff, and protect your property!

field permit

Make sure you’re ready to play! Permits are required for:

  • Special events or activities where more than 15 people are present
  • Athletic activity or formal group gatherings including team practices and organized team play
  • CommercIal activity or vending
  • Posting signs or other materials
  • Conducting fee-based practices such as personal training.
