Asphalt Green Invites NYC to Participate in Free Soccer Festival at Annual Big Kick

(New York, N.Y.) – On Saturday, September 7, 2024, New York City not-for-profit Asphalt Green will host its annual Big Kick event to provide New Yorkers of all abilities the chance to get active together through soccer-themed activities, entertainment, and giveaways. Asphalt Green projects this year’s Big Kick to be its largest ever, a testament to the organization’s significant growth over recent years, with over 1,000 people expected to attend.
WHAT: Big Kick – A free soccer festival and community event for athletes of all ages and abilities.
WHERE: Litwin Field at Asphalt Green’s Upper East Side campus, 1750 York Ave. (at 91st Street)

WHY: Big Kick advances Asphalt Green’s mission to build community and transform lives through sports, fitness, and play for all. We also welcome donations, with all proceeds from the event advancing programs such as Asphalt Green’s Community Sports Leagues, which offer organized sports to thousands of public-school students at a minimal cost, and scholarship program that last year surpassed over $430,000 and empowers gifted young athletes to join the organization’s regionally and nationally competitive travel teams.
