Abigail’s fitness career spans more than a decade, beginning in 2012 when she developed her expertise in mobility, mindfulness, and breathwork through yoga. By 2015, she expanded her practice by earning her Certified Personal Trainer credential through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has since built an impressive portfolio of certifications that includes Corrective Exercise Specialist, StrongFirst™ Level I & II Kettlebell Instructor, StrongFirst Body Weight, TRX, and a Certificate in Menopause Transition from Burrell Education. She is also a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Medicine and a Karuna Reiki Master, making her a true Swiss Army knife as an instructor.
Abigail knows that fitness journeys are rarely linear. At 50, Abigail discovered the power of kettlebell training, an experience that completely redefined what she believed was possible for her own body and shaped her specializations: corrective exercise and dedicated programming for women navigating menopause. Abigail understands firsthand what it means to struggle with motivation, build discipline from scratch, and work through the setbacks of illness and injury. Her approach at Asphalt Green is grounded in her lived experience, focusing on making training realistic, sustainable, and built around tackling one goal at a time for lasting results.
Abigail welcomes clients at every level and is committed to helping them find the same transformation that defined her own fitness journey. If you’re ready to pursue a more active life with someone who’s overcome the hurdles along the way, Abigail would be delighted to work with you.
