Kayla joined Asphalt Green in 2024, bringing nearly a decade of experience as a Pilates and group fitness instructor. Since her fitness career began in 2016, she has dedicated herself to helping clients build strength, stability, and confidence through movement. Prior to Asphalt Green, Kayla founded and operated Feel Good Pilates NYC, a boutique Pilates studio in Gramercy, for five years and has taught a variety of group fitness classes, including Pilates, yoga, treadmill, and aqua fitness.
Kayla’s interest in fitness began in high school, where she first discovered her love for running and weightlifting. Around the same time, she started attending her mom’s Pilates classes, igniting a passion that would shape her career. After experiencing recurring ankle injuries as a teenager, Kayla turned to Pilates and weightlifting to rebuild her strength and stability. This transformative experience not only allowed her to recover, enabling her to enjoy her passions for running and hiking again.
Kayla’s training philosophy centers on finding joy and consistency in movement. She believes fitness should be something you look forward to, encouraging her clients to explore activities they enjoy while embracing variety to keep the body challenged and engaged. Her favorite fitness tip?
