No Prerequisites

Pre-School Level 1 will introduce children to class time without their parents in the water. To ease the kids into the separation, we ask parents to participate in the water for part of the term and then gradually transition out of the water completely as the class progresses. In addition to learning independence in the water, your toddler will become comfortable with submersion, entering, and exiting the pool without assistance, breath control, assisted front and back floats and assisted kicking while blowing bubbles. They will also use equipment like a kickboard to help build a foundation of skills.

Prerequisites: Students should have passed our Pre-School Level 1 class or should be able to kick and float independently.

In Pre-School Level 2, our students will become more independent swimmers as they participate in class without a parent in the water and are required to bring and learn to use goggles. Our instructors will teach fundamental swim skills, including unassisted floats, submersion and bobs, and stroke and kick motions for freestyle and backstroke. By the end of the class, kids will feel comfortable entering and exiting the pool without assistance, know how to use equipment correctly without help, and perform more kicking, swimming and floating skills independently.

Prerequisites: Students should have passed our Pre-School Level 2 class or should be able to float independently, perform Freestyle and Backstroke kicks, and basic stroke motions for Freestyle and Backstroke.

Pre-School Level 3 is designed for toddlers with more advanced swimming skills. This course will focus on refining swim strokes and completing more quality repetitions of our targeted skills such as streamline push-offs, performing arm, leg and body motions for backstroke and freestyle and dolphin kick with a kickboard. Students will utilize equipment and feedback from our instructors to advance these skills.

Prerequisites: Students should have passed our Core Level 3 class or should be able to perform kicking for the Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly and basic motions for Breaststroke in streamline and with a kickboard. Students should also be able to perform repetitions swimming Freestyle, Backstroke, and basic motions for Breaststroke and Butterfly.

Designed for advanced swimmers, the AGUA Swim League provides a team-like training atmosphere for individuals to refine competitive swim strokes, and build endurance, speed, and confidence. Swimmers will continue to acquire high-level fundamental skills, learn the value of speed and endurance conditioning through quality repetitions, and will advance their abilities with streamline dolphin kick, diving skills, as well as flip turns and open turns.
