The TYR Turning the Tide Swim a Thon is a community fundraising event completely organized by teens and held annually each spring to support Asphalt Green’s efforts to provide free swim instruction to local children and families facing financial barriers.
Asphalt Green’s Big Swim is a free NYC swim meet for swimmers ages 6–13, welcoming all skill levels for an afternoon of racing, water safety, and community fun.
Asphalt Green’s first-ever Big Play Day is a neighborhood-wide block party-style celebration in Battery Park City, connecting neighbors, local businesses, partners, and the downtown community through play.
