Asphalt Green offers easy entry into youth flag football with a range of programming, including instructional group classes, recreational leagues, and weekend clinics. As they learn to play the game, kids also develop teamwork and good sportsmanship.
An All-Around Touchdown!
Kids as young as 5 can pursue their interest in football through our variety of non-contact Youth Flag Football programs. Our Flag Football Developmental League introduces children to the fundamentals of the game through instruction and structured scrimmages. Our experienced coaches will teach players throwing technique, catching, running with the football, game strategy, set plays and routes, offensive and defensive awareness, and more. In addition to fostering a love of the sport, this program will prepare young athletes to advance to the next level and progress toward competitive leagues.
From there, our Youth Flag Football League builds upon this strong foundation and refines players’ skills in preparation for league play. Player and team development will continue and lead to refereed games, concluding with playoffs and championships.
Along the way, players can supplement their skills with our one-day Youth Flag Football Clinics. Our professional coaches lead drills and instructional scrimmages that focus on catching, ball-carrying, running routes, and defensive techniques to further build players’ confidence and proficiency.
