AGSC teams shine at Disney president's day tournament
Asphalt Green Soccer Club (AGSC) teams recently travelled to Florida for the Disney President’s Day Tournament, one of the top youth soccer tournaments in the country. AGSC players showcased resilience, teamwork, and skill, competing against top-ranked teams, earning medals, and making the entire Asphalt Green community proud!
AGSC’s Boys 2013 Green team finished as silver medalists, securing a second place in their division! Their determination and effort throughout the weekend was commendable, highlighted by a huge win against the #9 ranked team in Massachusetts.
Meanwhile, the Boys 2014 Green team took home the gold and were crowned champions of their age group. Their perseverance and determination led to impressive victories, capping off the tournament by beating the #26 ranked team in the country.
Finally, the 2012 Green team defeated Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals ECRL and finished first in their bracket. They battled all the way to the semi-finals, where they faced off against PDA’s ECNL team in a hard-fought match and proved they could rise to the challenge with an inspired performance.
