Recess is the perfect time for kids to burn off energy, practice cooperation, and build confidence through playful challenges. Ring Bling is a hands-on teamwork game where students stay connected in a circle and work together to pass a “ring” (hula hoop) all the way around without letting go.

READY

Who: Grades K to 5

Players: 10 +

EXPLAIN

  1. Players form a circle holding hands. A “ring” (hula hoop) is placed between 2 players.
  2. The “ring” must go around the entire circle without players letting go of each others’ hands.
  3. Players must work together to step through the “ring” to get it to the next player.
  4. If the “ring” drops, or a player lets go of their partner’s hand, they must do 5 jumps.
  5. Restart the game from where the “ring” drops.
