For decades, AGUA has transformed lives by helping thousands of New Yorkers reach swim proficiency and enjoy the amazing benefits of swimming for a lifetime.
Whether you’re new to the pool or dream of pursuing elite competition, we believe everyone deserves to learn from the very best. AGUA offers swimmers of all ages and abilities the chance to learn from expert instructors qualified to train beginners, Olympians, and everyone in between, with all classes or private lessons hosted inside our state-of-the-art pools.
In addition, AGUA runs free and low cost aquatics programming as part of Asphalt Green’s Safe Swim NYC initiative to expand access to swim instruction. Notable examples include our Waterproofing program that has taught thousands of second-grade students to swim, and Wave Makers initiative that now offers free swim instruction throughout NYC. All AGUA programs adhere to the same standards of excellence and aim to inspire a lifelong passion for swimming.
