ABout the center
The Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center (MOHWCC) represents the result of a many-step, collaborative effort between the city, local community representatives, and development partners, to see the opening of this incredible multi-purpose space at the service of Crown Heights and the greater Brooklyn community.
The center houses the Carey Gabay Recreation Center, event spaces, and a collection of non-profit and community organizations. Asphalt Green serves as general operator of the facility and its fitness center.
